Intern
As an intern with the Lagos State Police Command, I supported the Technology and IT Department in implementing and managing various digital solutions, contributing to the efficiency of law enforcement operations. My responsibilities included:
Assisting with System Maintenance: Collaborated with the IT team to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing software and hardware systems used by the police department for record-keeping, communication, and data analysis.
Database Management: Contributed to managing and securing sensitive data related to criminal records, case files, and personnel information, ensuring compliance with security protocols and privacy regulations.
Software Development Support: Assisted in developing and testing software applications for internal use, focusing on streamlining workflow processes within the police command.
Technical Documentation: Supported the documentation of systems, procedures, and technical solutions, creating user guides and troubleshooting manuals for various technology systems in use at the department.
