Behavioral Health Programs and Services

Comprehensive Services

For children, adolescents, adults and older grownups.

Multiple Treatment Settings

Including inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, domestic and telehealth treatment programs.

Including, but not limited to: anxiety, anxiety, psychotic diagnoses, bipolar affective disorder, post-traumatic stress condition and neurorehabilitation.

Including innovative programs led by devoted educators that allow adolescents to continue their education and pursue scholastic success while in treatment.

Specialty Programs

– Military: UHS’ Patriot Support Programs supplies behavioral health services specifically created for military, veterans and families in 34 facilities.
– First Responders: Includes behavioral healthcare assistance, services and programs for first responders (authorities, firemens, dispatchers, corrections officers, criminal offense scene service technicians), EMS and other healthcare workers, in addition to active-duty armed force.
– Substance Use Disorder (SUD): A Number Of UHS’ Behavioral Health centers use a broad array of treatment services, such as drug and alcohol detox, step-down programs, sober living and aftercare. Services are available at multiple levels of care (e.g., residential, inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization).
Among them are those in our Foundations Recovery Network which specializes in the integrated treatment of dependency and underlying mental health disorders.
In 2024, we opened our very first Foundations Health area, providing outpatient services for those fighting with SUD, psychological health problems and/or opioid dependence, consisting of medication-assisted treatment.

– Eating Disorders: Skilled clinicians are geared up and trained to attend to a large range of consuming conditions from anorexia and bulimia to binge consuming along with eating disorders co-occurring with other conditions.
– Autism Spectrum Disorder: Dedicated programs available at choose centers customize a client’s treatment and interventions to exactly determine and track development. Plans incorporate behavioral functioning, social development, communication abilities, academic/vocational achievement, family education and assistance.

National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention

UHS has shown its commitment to suicide avoidance through its longstanding collaboration with the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention. As a happy advocate of the Action Alliance, UHS offers education and resources to the communities we serve.

Joint Ventures/Provider Partnerships/Alliances

UHS is continually aiming to take part in tactical partnerships that will help clients access the best level of care at the right location. This includes a concentrated effort on partnering with non-UHS Acute Care hospitals to help them operate their behavioral health services.
